Welcome to Swastik Packers and Movers. By using our packing, moving, and relocation services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before engaging our services.

Service Agreement

1.1 Scope of Services

Swastik Packers and Movers provides professional packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking services for household goods, office equipment, commercial items, and vehicles. Our services include:

  • Residential and commercial relocation
  • Local and long-distance moving
  • Packing and unpacking services
  • Vehicle transportation (car and bike carriers)
  • Warehousing and storage solutions
  • Corporate and office relocation
1.2 Service Confirmation

All services are subject to confirmation by Swastik Packers and Movers. A booking is considered confirmed only after we provide written or electronic confirmation of your service request along with the agreed terms.

Booking and Quotations

2.1 Quotation Validity

All quotations provided by Swastik Packers and Movers are estimates based on the information provided by the customer. Quotations remain valid for a period specified in the quote document. Final charges may vary based on:

Actual volume and weight of goods
Distance and accessibility of locations
Additional packing materials required
Labour and time requirements
2.2 Booking Process

Customers must provide accurate and complete information about the goods to be moved, including but not limited to quantity, dimensions, weight, and any special handling requirements. Incomplete or inaccurate information may result in revised quotations.

2.3 Advance Booking

We recommend booking our services at least 3-7 days in advance to ensure availability. During peak seasons, earlier booking is advisable.

Customer Responsibilities

3.1 Preparation of Goods

The customer is responsible for:

  • Ensuring all items are ready for packing and moving on the scheduled date
  • Emptying contents of drawers, cabinets, and refrigerators before moving
  • Disconnecting and defrosting appliances as required
  • Securing all personal valuables, jewelry, important documents, and cash
  • Providing clear access paths for loading and unloading
3.2 Accurate Information

Customers must provide accurate information regarding:

Complete pickup and delivery addresses

Contact numbers and availability

Floor levels and elevator access

3.3 Presence During Service

The customer or an authorized representative must be present at both pickup and delivery locations during the scheduled service time. Any delays caused by customer unavailability may result in additional charges.

3.4 Prohibited Items

Insurance and Liability

4.1 Transit Insurance

Swastik Packers and Movers offers optional transit insurance coverage for goods during transportation. Insurance coverage details, terms, and conditions will be provided separately upon request. We strongly recommend customers opt for insurance coverage for valuable items.

4.2 Liability Limitations

Our liability is limited to the terms specified in the service agreement. We shall not be held liable for:

  • Damage to items not properly disclosed or packed by the customer
  • Loss or damage due to natural disasters, acts of God, or force majeure events
  • Damage to items with pre-existing defects or fragile items not properly declared
  • Delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, or government regulations
  • Loss of items from unsealed or customer-packed boxes
4.3 Claims Procedure

Any claims for loss or damage must be reported in writing within 24 hours of delivery. Claims submitted after this period may not be entertained. The claim must include:

1 Detailed description of damage or loss
2 Photographs of damaged items
3 Original purchase receipts or invoices
4 Copy of the service agreement

Payment Terms

5.1 Payment Schedule

Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation. Generally, a booking advance is required to confirm the service, with the balance payable as per the agreed schedule.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

5.3 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for services not included in the original quotation, including but not limited to:

  • Extra packing materials required beyond the estimate
  • Waiting time exceeding reasonable limits at pickup or delivery
  • Additional labour for heavy or bulky items
  • Storage charges for delayed delivery requests
  • Special handling for fragile or valuable items

Cancellation and Rescheduling

6.1 Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Cancellation charges may apply based on the timing of cancellation:

48-72 hours before service Partial charges may apply
Less than 48 hours before service Higher charges may apply
On the day of service Full or significant charges may apply
6.2 Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service date. Repeated rescheduling may be subject to additional fees. We will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling requests based on our operational capacity.

6.3 Company-Initiated Cancellation

Swastik Packers and Movers reserves the right to cancel or postpone services due to unforeseen circumstances, natural disasters, or force majeure events. In such cases, we will notify the customer at the earliest and work to reschedule the service.

Privacy and Data Protection

7.1 Information Collection

We collect personal information necessary to provide our services, including names, addresses, contact details, and inventory information. This information is used solely for service delivery and communication purposes.

7.2 Data Security

Swastik Packers and Movers is committed to protecting your personal information. We implement appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of your data.

7.3 Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be shared with service partners only as necessary to fulfill your moving requirements.

In case of any disputes or grievances, customers are encouraged to first contact our customer support team. We are committed to resolving issues amicably and in a timely manner.

8.3 Governing Law

Swastik Packers and Movers reserves the right to modify, update, or change these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

Your continued use of our services after any modifications to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions. We encourage customers to review these terms periodically.

9.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
